What is your background in audiology?
I have been an audiologist for 30 years. The first 24 years were in medicalĀ settings, primarily working with pediatrics. I then spent some time in industry and am now an educational audiologist.Ā
Why do you volunteer with the Academy?
Volunteering allows me to learn new things while helpingĀ our profession. It is also a great way to meet audiologists from across the country.

What is one thing that you can say volunteering has done for you and your personal success as an audiologist?
Volunteering has made me more knowledgeable about things that are not directly audiology-related but that impact how we practice as audiologists. Laws, rules, test standardization ā I could write a very long list.Ā
What is your favorite weekend activity?
My husband claims that it is sleeping but I really enjoy spending time with my family and reading.Ā
If you could be on any game show, which would you choose? Why?
Jeopardy! I love trivia. I am excited for Trivia Bowl 2.0 at AAA 2024.
