General Information and Timeline
Each year, the Academy Nominations Committee requests nominations for the upcoming board term for president-elect and three member-at-large positions. From the submitted nominations, the committee develops a slate of candidates approved by the Academy Board of Directors to be presented to and voted upon by Academy members. The nominations and election cycle opens with a solicitation of nominations in late summer and continues through the voting period which takes place immediately after the AAA Annual Conference.
