The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC) Commission recently announced that the CompactConnect data system has officially launched!
CompactConnect is the data system that will assist member states in issuing compact privileges to audiologists and speech-language pathologists (SLP). Currently, registration is only open for licensed practitioners in Louisiana and West Virginia. Several states are actively working toward onboarding and meeting compact requirements. Until a practitioner’s respective state has onboarded, practitioners cannot register in the CompactConnect system. The onboarding process is completed by member states and will be done on a rolling basis in coordination with state board administrators, IT staff, CompactConnect Project Management Team, and the Compact Executive Director.
More information and a link to registration for licensed practitioners in Louisiana and West Virginia can be found on the ASLPCompact.com home page and the ASLP-IC map.
