ABA Certified

Becoming ABA Certified signals your commitment to professional standards, ethical practices, and continued professional development as an audiologist. ABA Certified is an entry level, credential verification program that can be attained immediately after completing your doctoral degree in audiology.

 ABA Board Certification Programs

ABA Board Certification Programs are designed to recognize audiologists who meet education and experience requirements and demonstrate knowledge, skills, or competencies in their profession through passing a rigorous examination.

Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification® (PASC)

Those designated Board Certified in Pediatric Audiology (BC-PA) have demonstrated specialized knowledge and skill in the field of pediatric audiology.

Vestibular Audiology Specialty Certification® (VASC)

Those designated Board Certified in Vestibular Audiology (BC-VA) have demonstrated specialized knowledge and skill in the field of vestibular audiology.

Cochlear Implant Specialty Certification®

Those designated Board Certified in Cochlear Implants (BC-CI) have demonstrated specialized knowledge and skill in the field of cochlear implants.

ABA Certificate Programs

ABA Certificate Programs use evidence-based instructional design principles to ensure efficient learning and retention of information. They provide instruction and training and assess mastery of the intended learning outcomes.

Certificate Holder—Audiology Preceptor (CH-AP)

CH-AP is an online self-study program for licensed audiologists that is designed to help clinical educators facilitate AuD students transitioning from novice clinician to professional.

Certificate Holder—Tinnitus Management (CH-TM)

CH-TM is an online self-study program for licensed audiologists that provides essential information for assessing and managing patients with tinnitus or decreased sound tolerance.

Certificate Holder—Educational Audiology® (CH-EdAud)

CH-EdAud is an online self-study course for licensed audiologists that focuses on audiological practices that support children and youth in educational settings.
