The Academy was saddened to learn of the passing of Haley Owen, AuD, a dedicated audiologist, Academy member, and advocate for better hearing-health-care throughout the United States. During her 20-year career in the hearing care industry, Dr. Owen appeared on various media outlets, raising awareness about the impacts of hearing loss and the importance of proper hearing-health. She also served as the vice president of legislative issues for the Texas Academy of Audiology.
