Hearing Loss Is Truly Depressing

In a study by Golub and colleagues (2018), an association was found between age-related hearing loss and depression. This cross-sectional study of Hispanic adults revealed that for every 20 dB increase in hearing loss, the risk for depressive symptoms increased approximately 45 percent.
