Benefits of Oysters
Today is National Oyster Day. In addition to the many other health and lifestyle benefits of oysters, research has suggested that inner ear’s resistance to the bane of ototoxicity or age-related hearing loss is improved by keeping a healthy dose of Zinc in your system. This can be found in dark chocolate or oysters, among many other foods. So, enjoy a half-dozen on the half shell today, and possibly protect your hearing, in observance of National Oyster Day!
